Mango, Banana & Strawberry Popsicle At Home For Kids

Kids do demand Ice-cream or beverages during summer. And that is what they see around and in television advertisement during the summer.

Such food contains high amount of sugar and artificial flavors or preservatives. Good summer alternatives are real fruits, coconut water, lemon water (nimbu-paani), Aam Panna and more traditional beverages.

One such thing can be prepared at home and will be loved by kids are Fruit Popsicle. Yes, you can make fresh fruits popsicle at home without any additional sugar or artificial ingredients.

Ingredients:
> 1 Ripe Mango
> 1 Ripe Banana
> 5-6 Ripe Strawberries
> 1/2 cup plain yogurt
> 1-2 tablespoons honey or date syrup
Popsicle molds and sticks

Popsicle Making:
> Wash Mango and Strawberries properly and let them be in a water bowl for 20 minutes.
> Peel mango & banana and dice/cut them into pieces/chunks, Hull and cut strawberries into pieces
> In a blender, add pieces of mango, banana and strawberries.
> Now add yogurt and honey (or date syrup) in a blender and blend until you get a smooth texture.
> Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness.
> Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and insert popsicle sticks.
> Place the popsicle molds in the freezer until it is properly frozen.
> Once frozen, pour a little warm water on the popsicle molds and carefully take the popsicles out of the molds.
> Serve homemade popsicles and let kids enjoy them for refreshment.

 

Homemade fruit popsicles are better alternatives compared to ready-made popsicles.
